Bruce Nortell
The author has been raised, educated, and employed in law, medicine, religion, and education. This background has provided him with a distinctive perspective from which to evaluate modern America. His books on organ transplantation, medical ethics, professional misconduct, and poetry (as well as 30 journal articles on legal, medical, educational, and literary subjects) have garnered several book awards and a Pulitzer Prize nomination. A member of Phi Beta Kappa, he has also provided substantial assistance to charitable efforts in law, medicine, and education for a number of years.
